Roderick David Stewart, conhecido como Rod Stewart, (Highgate, Londres, 10 de janeiro de 1945) é um cantor e compositor britânico, mais conhecido por sua voz áspera, rouca, exemplificada em sua canção mais famosa, "Maggie May".

Apesar de conhecido pela sua carreira pop, Rod Stewart foi uma das grandes influências do cenário rock inglês do final dos anos 60, gravando três discos com o aclamado guitarrista Jeff Beck no mesmo período do Led Zeppelin
